I spent two weeks this spring writing, acting in and directing a short called “Melophobia Americana” as part of this year’s Collaborative Filmmaker’s Challenge. \u00a0The short ended up screening at the event, and I won the “Best Actor in a Comedy” award. \u00a0Pretty sweet.<\/p>\n

Now, the short is not without its flaws. It was shot in a hurry, with never more than three people on the set (including actors) at a time. \u00a0The scene in the garage I shot by myself. \u00a0It was a blast. \u00a0And, \u00a0I actually did<\/em> it. \u00a0I finished<\/em> it. \u00a0On time<\/em>. \u00a0It screened. \u00a0People laughed<\/em>. \u00a0That’a all I could hope for.<\/p>\n
